Creating Futures

Need a job? Never worked or have little job experience? Want to get on track to your career? We can help!

Creating Futures is a program for people ages 16-24 who need a helping hand achieving their education and employment goals.

What Does Creating Futures Do?

If you have either graduated or dropped out of high school and struggle to pay for food, shelter and other basic necessities, then Creating Futures is for you. We will help you identify your strengths, sharpen skills, explore career fields, and land a job. We also partner with other community programs to remove the barriers to your success. You’ll receive concrete support in attaining the education and employment you need to succeed.

Don’t let lack of money interfere with your determination and commitment. You got this!

How Do I Get Involved?

Get in touch with IowaWorks to learn about the in-demand high-paying careers and job retraining programs available. Have a short one-on-one discussion with our staff to figure out what’s right for you and how to get there. It’s free and there’s no RSVP required – just walk in!
