Creating Futures

Need a job? Never worked or have little job experience? Want to get on track to your career? We can help!

Creating Futures is a program for people ages 16-24 who need a helping hand achieving their education and employment goals.

What Does Creating Futures Do?

If you have either graduated or dropped out of high school and are struggling with the next step in your education or career, then Creating Futures is for you. We will help you identify your strengths, sharpen skills, explore career fields, and land a job. We also partner with other community programs to remove the barriers to your success. You’ll receive concrete support in attaining the education and employment you need to succeed.

Don’t let lack of money interfere with your determination and commitment. You got this!

Creating Futures assists enrolled individuals with education and employment with employment being the goal.  We can provide tuition assistance for training including HiSET testing fees and qualifying short-term certificate and degree programs.  For employment, we not only assist with interviewing, resumes, and job search, but we can also place participants in paid work experiences and internships where they can build on their essential workplace skills and gain skills plus exposure to a specific career field.  Support services can also be received to help with continued participation.  Once goals are completed and a participant finishes their credential and/or is employed, they exit the program and receive follow-up services for an additional year. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria for enrollment.
