Once you've submitted your application, you'll receive your k-number in your welcome letter. Your k-number is your official Kirkwood ID. You'll use your k-number to log into MyHub and Talon, get your EagleCard, log into campus computers, and more.

The Kirkwood student email system is the primary way you'll receive official communication from the college. Important details about advising, enrollment and financial aid will be sent via email.

Program conferences are required for acceptance into many programs. You will receive information from your academic department as your start date nears.

“Being from two hours away, I considered the community college near my hometown but decided against it after I saw Kirkwood. Campus really has the feel of being a larger university, but with smaller class sizes that I don’t feel like I get lost in.”
