Just 4 the HEALTH of it! is an 10-week free online health and wellness mileage based tracking program designed for everyone - all health/fitness levels welcome! Not only will your team track miles, the program also features an opportunity for individual participants to earn raffle ticket opportunities towards prizes randomly drawn throughout the program. "j4thoi!" will also have a GRAND PRIZE at the end of our 10-week challenge! 

For Kirkwood faculty/staff, students & retirees...all are encouraged to form teams (2-5 members) for the purpose of social support, to enhance the health & wellness progress of Kirkwood’s campus; it provides excellent motivation to continue striving towards a healthier, happier, longer life!  While also promoting a little friendly competition and comradery.  All participants keep track of their own activities and chart their progress online.  Within your weekly log are drop down choices for activities and or healthy choices.  You can also find a conversion chart for activities and healthy choices on the bottom of this page or on the FAQ page.

Leader board results, team board, challenge board, weekly miles log, milestones & challenges log as well as FAQ updates will be posted on this website.

Just 4 the HEALTH of it! team prizes:
1st place Winners - each team member will receive $40 Eagle Cash 
2nd place Winners - each team member will receive $25 Eagle Cash
3rd  place Winners - each team member will receive $10 Eagle Cash
Top Individual Miler Award (most miles accumulated) will receive $25 Eagle Cash

  1. A team captain registers their team online.
    Teams may enter the challenge and register at any time and begin logging miles on the date entered. (Teams are made up of 2-5 individuals, the challenge is based on a team average keeping it fair for all teams involved.)
  2. Each team member submits their weekly miles log online.
    *Login with your k# & password.
  3. Challenges & Milestones - Each team member will submit their own online raffle ticket upon completion of each challenge or milestone.
    *Challenges must be completed within the designated dates unless otherwise noted.
  4. Teams may not drop team members unless that team member is no longer affiliated with Kirkwood. *After the completion of the 1st week, team members can no longer be added.

You choose your own activities and exercise at your own pace and convenience.
