Kirkwood Community College Mission
Kirkwood Community College identifies community needs; provides accessible, quality education and training; and promotes opportunities for lifelong learning.

PROTOCOL FOR RETURNING SUMMER PERSONNEL (PHASE 2)

5/21/2020

The following are Iowa Department of Public Health guidelines for essential workers to protect Kirkwood phase 1 employees and are subject to change as COVID-19 evolves. Adherence to the physical distancing requirements and the health and safety points below will be strictly enforced.

PROTOCOL FOR RETURNING SUMMER STUDENTS (PHASE 2)

5/21/2020

The following protocols encourage Kirkwood’s learning community to consider others as well as themselves and empower students to take responsibility for their own health and safety amid the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
It is not to be assumed that all risk from COVID-19 will be eliminated. Rather, these protocols provide the opportunity for the college to continuously monitor and evaluate risk, and to adapt practices to mitigate that risk in light of direction and guidance by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other health professionals and experts.
