Government and Community Relations

At Kirkwood, we recognize the vital role of strong, strategic relationships with our community and elected officials. To ensure our work continues to positively impact students and the region, we are deepening our commitment to government and community engagement. Jasmine Almoayyed serves as vice president of government and community relations, a role modeled after long-standing leadership in this area. This realignment strengthens our ability to advocate for key policy issues, share the college’s successes, and collaborate closely with Community Colleges for Iowa and other partners.
