Allied Health Job Fair

Due to public health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, the job fair scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2020 has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Kirkwood Community College Allied Health Department is hosting a job fair for students and invites area employers to participate.

If you have immediate openings that need to be filled, or are in the process of cultivating a pipeline of future employees, this event is the perfect opportunity for you. Kirkwood has a strong history of producing alumni that fill regional health industry needs and make an impact within organizations of all sizes.

Allied Health students participating in the fair come from the following programs: Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Dental Technology, Diagnostic Assistant, Electroneurodiagnostic, Health Information Technology (HIT), Medical Coding, Medical Assisting, Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Respiratory Therapist, and Surgical Technology.

Some Allied Health program highlights include:
  • All Allied Health programs are accredited.
  • All programs meet (and in many cases exceed) accreditation-required clinical hours, providing students with extensive hands-on training.
  • Kirkwood students in patient care programs have knowledge of and access to EPIC.
