At the program conference, you will be given information about the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technology program and the career. You will also be informed of any additional admission requirements. This is your opportunity to have your questions answered by a faculty member teaching in your program.

Before attending a program conference, you must complete these two steps:
1) You must have applied to Kirkwood within the last year and you must have Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technology listed as your major.  If you have not taken this step, we will not be able to accept you into the program. If you are a current Kirkwood student and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technology is not currently your major, you will need to change it at .
2) Kirkwood must have on file COMPASS or ACT scores that are under two years old.  This is very important for this program.  If you are not sure whether your scores are on file or whether they are recent enough, please call us at 319.398.4983. Please also bring a copy of your scores with you to the program conference.
Upon completing the program conference, you will be either accepted into the program or added to a waitlist.  Our programs fill up on a first come first served basis.   At the program conference your Compass (or ACT) placement test results will be discussed and you will be informed of any prerequisite courses you would need to take prior to beginning the program.
Program conferences generally last only one hour, and will be held on the dates listed below. To register, fill out and submit the following form. There is no charge for the program conference.
