Staff Onboarding Program

The Staff Onboarding Program is a series of learning events tied to the Kirkwood Universal Core Competencies. These sessions are designed to develop skills related to the competencies.


There are five sessions per year for this program. These are typically structured as follows:

  • 2 hours per session (10 a.m. to noon)
  • 1 hour lunch (noon to 1 p.m.)

Upon successful completion of all five courses, staff will receive a certificate in campus mail.
