Kirkwood Community College, in partnership with area school districts, is moving forward with plans to construct a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar educational facility in your area. With the goal of preparing secondary and post-secondary students to meet the workforce needs of the community, this facility will integrate state-of-the-art technology with cutting edge instruction in the spirit of collaboration that is central to Kirkwood Community College’s mission.
The purpose of this survey of employers is to identify current and future workforce training needs including space, equipment and expertise that are considered essential to business success. The information collected will be used in the planning and design of this facility so that we may coordinate current workforce training efforts and plan for future activities and opportunities. Your participation is vital in determining the education and training that will most affect the skill needs of your business.
Depending on the size and complexity of your organization, it will take approximately 15 minutes to complete the survey. Please complete the survey by January 20, 2012. If you have questions about this survey, please contact Mike McLaughlin at 319-398-4947 or mike.mclaughlin@kirkwood.edu. Survey responses will remain confidential and reports will utilize aggregate data only.
We thank you for your participation and assistance with this project.
