High-Tech Girlz Day
at Kirkwood Community College

Have you ever considered exploring a career in Information Technology? Want to meet other girlz interested in IT? Talk to instructors first-hand that teach IT courses? Spend the day at Kirkwood and Explore Technology in “bytes.” This program is designed for Girlz in 9th – 12th grade.

Girlz will rotate through “byte-sized” lab sessions with Kirkwood Instructors and have a chance to explore opportunities in:

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Local Area Networking Management (LAN)
Computer Support and Hardware Repair
Web Design, Development and Marketing
Computer Programming
