Student Support Services provides personal assistance and direction to eligible Kirkwood students. This federally funded program helps students achieve academic success, graduate from college or transfer to a bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university.
Who is Eligible
Any United States citizen or permanent resident enrolled at Kirkwood Community College, who meets at least one of the following requirements:
- Is a first generation college student (neither parent has eraned a bachelor's degree) or
- Family taxable income does not exceed the federal level determined by the U.S. Department of Education or
- Has a documented disability
