The Kirkwood Eagles Softball program is one of the most elite in NJCAA Division II.  In 2001 the Eagles set a team record 45 wins.  The 2001 team was also selected the Academic All-American team. The Eagles were Region XI Champions in 1980-83, 1985, 1998, 2001 and 2002.  The Eagles placed 5th in the nation in 2002.
