Electives are transferable courses that provide students opportunities to explore subjects of special interest outside of the core requirements, or may be applied to the major that the student plans to pursue.

The following types of courses can be counted as electives:

  • All courses with "Arts & Sciences Elective Code A" in the course descripton. (transfer courses)
  • Up to 16 credit hours of courses with "Arts & Sciences Elective Code B" in the course description. (technical courses)
