As Kirkwood returns to on-campus operations, it is critical that we all remain focused on prevention efforts aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19 on our campuses. PLEASE REVIEW the following REQUIREMENTS and GUIDELINES for all employees returning to campus in the fall:
The Employee Health Check on MyHub must be completed each day before coming to campus.
Masks or face shields are required for all indoor spaces.
(Common areas, classrooms, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, public spaces, when entering doorways, etc.) In the classroom, faculty are expected to wear a mask or face shield and keep 6 feet of separation where possible.
Employees with shared offices, workstations, and partial cubicles must wear a mask or face shield.
If a person is in a private office or four-walled cubicle, masks are not required. A mask or face shield is not required at reception areas where the reception employee is behind a plexiglass shield.
Social distancing of 6 feet must be maintained while at work.
Lunch and meal breaks should be taken individually, 6 feet apart and not in groups. Videoconferencing is still the preferred method of conducting meetings.
All employees must frequently clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces with college-provided supplies.
Any shared equipment (i.e., computers, printers, tools, etc.) shall be disinfected with the appropriate cleaning supplies prior to and following use.
All employees are encouraged to wash their hands with soap and water frequently while on campus.
