Ordering A Transcript
Click here to order your official Kirkwood Community College Transcript. Kirkwood does not take transcript orders by phone, email or fax.
All transcript orders must be made using the link above or the "Transcript Request" link in EagleNet. When placing the order, you will provide:
- personal and contact information
- your K number or Social Security Number
- a major credit or debit card
- an email account
- your signed consent

Before you order a transcript:
1. Make sure your transcript shows the grades you expect it to.
- In EagleNet, select "Grades" and look in the "Final Grd" column.
2. Make sure your transcript will show the degree or graduation date you expect it to.
- In EagleNet, run your "Degree Audit." Degrees are shown under "Credentials Earned" on the first page.
Kirkwood is not responsible for the cost of transcripts ordered too soon.
Official Kirkwood transcripts processed on or after May 1, 2018, are $7 per copy when delivered electronically. Other delivery methods can have additional charges.
Secure electronic delivery of official transcripts is available. If you have a form that needs to accompany your transcript, it can be uploaded when placing your order.
As long as you provide accurate information so we can find your Kirkwood record right away, your transcript can be delivered in as little as 20 minutes. Recipients you designate will receive an email with instructions to download your transcript. When they complete that download, you will receive an email notice.
Electronic delivery may be slower during peak ordering times such as at the end of a semester.

Text Message Status Updates
During the ordering process, you can elect to receive text message updates as your order status changes.
An official transcript is a certified record of all post-secondary academic work done at Kirkwood Community College. It includes classes taken, hours earned, grade received and credentials conferred. Many colleges require that official transcripts be sent either directly to them electronically or printed and mailed directly to them in a sealed envelope.
Balance Due Hold
No transcript is issued for persons whose Kirkwood account has a past due. You will be notified in the ordering process if you have a balance due hold.
Your order will maintain a pending status for 30 days. If the balance due is not paid within 30 days, the order will be canceled and you will not be charged.
Payment by credit or debit card will release your transcript the next business day. Payment by check will release it the business day after the check clears (usually 10-11 business days).
The College does not provide unofficial transcripts. If you are a current or former student, you may obtain a list of your courses and original grades by logging into EagleNet. Unofficial transcripts are rarely accepted by prospective employers or other schools in place of official transcripts.
In Person Pickup
If you select the "Hold for Pick-up" option when ordering a transcript, you'll receive an email when the order has been received by Kirkwood. Be sure to bring a photo ID and stop by the Kirkwood One Stop Office, 2nd Floor Kirkwood Hall, Cedar Rapids main campus, to pick up your transcript. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with the following exceptions:
Friday hours mid-May through July are 8 a.m. - noon
The college is closed on days noted as "College Holiday" at www.kirkwood.edu/calendar and sometimes closes for inclement weather
Electronic transcripts include the transcript key as an attachment to the PDF.
