Deregistration / Administrative Withdraw
If you have been deregistered from a course due to non-attendance, please follow these steps.
1. Log into your Kirkwood Student email account. You can access your email by the link located in the upper right corner of the main Kirkwood website.
2. Locate the "Deregistration" email and forward it to your instructor. Please copy DistanceLearning@kirkwood.edu and include the following text:
"I am requesting your permission to be reregistered into your course."
NOTE: Instructor email addresses can be found in the campus directory if not already in the email you received.
3. The Instructor will reply to all indicating if they approve or deny your request to be added back into their course.
4. If approval is given, the Distance Learning Office will reregister you and send a message to you and your instructor when reregistration has been completed.
