My email no longer works on my phone
On August 12th, 2013, Microsoft upgraded Kirkwood's student email from Microsoft Live@edu to Microsoft Office 365. If you have synced your student email to a mobile device the upgrade will require you to enter new settings to re-sync it. Click here for instructions on how to sync your mobile device.
Where did my Sky Drive documents go?
If you uploaded documents to your Sky Drive before August 12th, 2013, you can retrieve them at skydrive.live.com.
- Login to skydrive.live.com using your student email address and you Live password
- If you have forgotten your Live password, click on Can't access your account
- Follow the steps on the page to reset your password
- An email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password
What is my Office 365 password?
The Office 365 password is NOT the same as your Kirkwood password you use to login to EagleNet. You will use your Office 365 password if you sync your student email to your mobile device. If you don't know or forgot your Office 365 password, click here and follow the steps.
What is my Microsoft Live password?
The Live password is NOT the same as your Kirkwood password you use to login to EagleNet. You will use your Microsoft Live password to login to your Sky Drive and retrieve any documents you have stored there prior to August 12th, 2013 Follow these directions to access your Sky Drive.
What is my Office 365 User ID or UPN (User Principal Name)?
If you had a Kirkwood student email before August 12th, 2013, your UPN will be your active email address at time your account was upgraded. If your email address changes because of a name change your UPN will NOT change. If your Kirkwood student email was created after August 12th, 2013, your UPN will be your k number followed by @student.kirkwood.edu. To verify your UPN follow these steps:
- Login to your student email
- Click on Office 365 Settings in the upper right hand corner
- Your UPN will be labeled User ID in the middle section of the page
What is the student email system?
Kirkwood student email is hosted by Microsoft Office 365 for education. It is your (the) official single point of communication from Kirkwood. Features include:
25 gigabytes of message storage
30 megabyte message size limit
Online file storage
Sync with mobile devices (blackberry, iphone, etc..)
Message forwarding (gmail, hotmail, etc..)
How do I log in?
Log in using your k number and EagleNet password. If you donít know your knumber or Eaglenet password please visit www.kirkwood.edu/password.
Can I access Office 365 from my mobile phone?
Yes, it is possible to access your student email on mobile devices or via an email client. You can follow the Mobile Student Email Setup instructions for assistance.

When can I access my Kirkwood email?
Typically Kirkwood student email accounts are created 24 hours after you have applied. If your student email account is not available after 24 hours have passed since completing your application then use the Contact Us form.
I can't remember my password to my Kirkwood student email! Where can I find my password?
Your login is your knumber and Eaglenet password. Your password can be changed or reset at www.kirkwood.edu/password
What is my Kirkwood email address?
The format of your Kirkwood student email address is: email@example.com (Example: firstname.lastname@example.org) If your first and last name are being used already, a number will be added to your email address to make it unique. To verify your email address, log into your student email, click on the drop down arrow next to your name in the upper right hand corner.
How can I change my language, time zone, date format and time format?
- Log into your student email
