Who are they?
Student Ambassadors are a select group of current Kirkwood students. They serve as campus role models, leaders and positive representatives for Kirkwood.
What do they do?
Student Ambassadors meet with prospective students and their families during Campus Visit Days. By sharing their own college experience and giving fun campus tours, they get students excited about a future at Kirkwood.
When do they meet?
Meetings are held during activity hour (11:15 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.) on Thursdays. Our Campus Visit Days are on Fridays throughout the academic year, along with a few select Saturdays. We also offer fun events, including hockey games, bowling, ice skating, potlucks and more!
What are the benefits of becoming a Student Ambassador?
There are tons of perks! Student Ambassadors network with Kirkwood staff and faculty, new students and their families, plus they get many leadership opportunities. Being an ambassador will help you improve your communication skills both personally and professionally. Above all else, it’s a great way to get involved on campus, meet new friends and have fun!
