Amy Lasack
Director of Training & Outreach Services

Amy joined Kirkwood in July 2002 and the Kirkwood Training & Outreach Services Team as director in February 2008. In her previous positions at Kirkwood, Amy worked closely with area employers on their workforce needs through the Skills Advantage Program. As director of Training & Outreach services, Amy works with program directors in meeting corporate training needs. Amy also coordinates special jobs, accelerated training programs and industry consortium training programs. Amy has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from Cornell College and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose.

Doris Metz
Operations Coordinator

Doris has been with Kirkwood since 1980. She joined the Kirkwood Training & Outreach Services Team in October 2006. She is responsible for administering the Iowa Jobs Training Program (260F) and Grow Iowa Values Funds. These programs provide funding to train current employees of eligible businesses that are located in our area. Contact Doris and she will work one-on-one with you to answer questions and help you with your application.

Stephanie Bredman
Program Manager

Stephanie joined Kirkwood in 1997 as a program director and worked with the Iowa Jobs Training Program (260F) for eight years. She became the program manager for the Iowa New Jobs Training Program (260E) and works with area businesses that are expanding or moving within Kirkwood's seven-county region. Stephanie earned her B.S. degree in business administration from Walden University. Greg Stewart
Director of Transportation
Greg Joined Kirkwood in September 2013 as the Director of Transportation. Greg brings over 30 years of combined transportation, logistics, human resources and safety experience to the Kirkwood team. He was most recently with Heartland Express, Inc. of Iowa as the director of recruiting and previously with Wal-Mart Logistics from 1990-2006. Gregís team is responsible for training and developing Class A and B commercial motor vehicle operators in both contracted and open enrollment programs. Greg received his bachelorís degree in business, marketing and aviation administration from the University of Dubuque.

David Hughes
Fire and Safety Manager

David joined Kirkwood in 2010 as the Fire & Safety program manager after serving as fire chief with GM Powertrain. David retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service, with his last assignment as training chief of the Airport Firefighter Course, Louis F. Garland DoD Fire Academy. He has an A.S. in Fire Science from the Community College of the Air Force and holds International Fire Service Accreditation Congress certificates including: Instructor III (Master Instructor), Fire Officer IV, Fire Inspector II, Hazardous Materials T-t-T, Airport Firefighter and Rescue Technician.

Dan Felton
Program Sales Manager
Dan joined Kirkwood Training & Outreach Services as a Program Sales Manager in April of 2014. Dan brings many years of experience in sales and marketing as well as hands on expertise in fleet management and safety management. Prior to joining the Kirkwood team, Dan held positions in sales and marketing in a non-profit and in private industry. Dan also has several years in management practice with companies ranging in size from 4 employees to 200 employees. Dan earned his bachelorís degree from Cornell College in Mt.Vernon, Iowa.

Paulette Milewski
Program Director

Paulette Milewski joined Kirkwood Training & Outreach Services as a program director in November 2009, bringing with her considerable experience in sales, customer service and training. Prior to joining the Kirkwood team, Paulette had worked in both not-for-profit and private industries. She earned her bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1999. Erica Bergfeld
Program Developer

Erica Bergfeld joined the Kirkwood Training and Outreach team as a Program Developer in March 2015. She earned her bachelorís degree from Illinois State University. Prior to joining the Kirkwood team, Erica worked in marketing and event planning for both the private sector and non-profit industries.

Barb Rawson
Program Developer

Barb joined the Kirkwood Training and Outreach team in April 2016 as a Program Developer bringing many years of experience in education program management, training, customer service and sales. Prior to joining the Kirkwood team, Barb worked in both non-profit and private industry. She earned her bachelorís degree in Public Relations from Mount Mercy University. Tyler McCarville
Employer Services Program Developer

Tyler joined Kirkwoodís Continuing Education & Training Services department as an Employer Services Program Developer in January of 2014. Tyler most recently worked at Argosy University, Chicago as a Senior Admissions Representative, where he specialized in recruiting graduate students to the University. Prior to that Tyler held positions in sales and in political campaigns. Tyler earned his Bachelorís degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa and Masterís degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Argosy University.

Gayle Kennedy
Office Coordinator/Facility Coordinator

Gayle has been with Kirkwood since 1987. She is responsible for providing facility reservations and hosting services at the facility.

Debbie Klatt
Department Assistant

Debbie joined Kirkwood Community College in August 2009. She graduated with honors from the University of Central Missouri, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She provides support to the director, program directors, facility coordinator and KTOS instructors.
