Can I register for classes at the Marion Center?
Yes. There are a number of ways to register for classes at Kirkwood. You can register in person at the Marion Center, over the phone by calling 319-398-5412 or 1-800-332-2055 ext. 5412, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration is also available through the Internet at https://eaglenet.kirkwood.edu/.  You must already be in our student records system to register by Internet.

How much does it cost to attend Kirkwood Community College?
Current tuition and fees are $107.00 per semester hour. For Iowa residents, that is $1,605.00 per semester for an average course load of 15 credit hours. Nonresident tutition is $132 per semester hour. Anytime/Anywhere classes are billed at resident rates. Tuition is due prior to the start date of the term.

What is the FACTS Tuition Management Program?
FACTS is a interest-free monthly payment plan. Payments are set up via Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) or with a Credit Card Option. To enroll in the FACTS Payment Plan click here.

Can I take the COMPASS Placement Exam at the Marion Center?
Yes. Students can take the COMPASS Placement Exam at the Marion Center. The COMPASS test is given on the computer and takes approximately two hours to complete. There are three parts to the test: Reading, Writing & Math. The tests can be taken individually or all at the same time. Students are encouraged to call the Marion Center for an appointment at 319-398-1052. There is no charge to take the placement exam. How do I get to the Marion Center?
From main campus, take Highway 30 East to Highway 13 North. Go north on Hwy 13 to the intersection of Hwy's 151 & 13. Turn left and head west into Marion. Turn right at 31st Street. Turn left onto 8th Avenue. Go one and a half blocks. The Marion Center is on the right hand side of the road.

is the Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services center located at 3375 Armar Drive, Marion (across from Carlos O Kelly's).

Can I get my GED at Kirkwood?
