Apply to Kirkwood online at http://www.kirkwood.edu/apply. Then call 319-472-2318 to set up an appointment to take the Compass assessment test and meet with an advisor. If students plan to take classes at the Cedar Rapids campus, it is best to meet with the academic department advisor or advising center.

Are computers available for student use?
The Benton County Center has wireless HP Notebooks for student use. The laptops are equipped with the Microsoft Office 2007; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, as well as Internet and Kirkwood Library access. Students are asked to sign a "Responsible Use of Technology Contract" each semester before checking out a laptop for use in the building.
