Join Our Group
Staff, faculty, alumni and friends of Kirkwood Community College are encouraged to join this group to explore the educational possibilites of Second Life and share ideas. We meet once a week on main campus and in-world for tours of educational places, to build in the sandbox on the Kirkwood island and to discuss the resources we've discovered with other members of the group. We call our meetings "Second Life and Lunch." You can find a listing of our meetings at the bottom of this page.

In Second Life:
Click the blue Search button at the bottom of your screen. Select the Groups tab. Type "Kirkwood" in the Find field and click the blue Search button. Click the Join L$0 button and confirm by clicking the Join button in the pop-up menu. When our group holds events in Second Life, you will receive information and teleports to attend. See you in-world!

Note to faculty and staff: Remember to sign up for Fall semester meetings on the KCELT Web site. Faculty will receive one hour of professional renewal credit for each session they attend.
