Join Our Group
Staff, faculty, alumni and friends of Kirkwood Community College are encouraged to join the Kirkwood Second Life Group to explore the educational possibilites of Second Life and share ideas.
Our group meets most Fridays 1-1:50pm in KCELT and on the Kirkwood island in Second Life. We call our meetings "Second Life and Lunch" or "SLunch." You don't need an avatar to join the group. Stop by KCELT during one of our meetings or connect with us on the Web.
Note to Kirkwood Faculty and Staff:
Remember to sign up for Spring 2010-11 semester meetings on the KCELT Web site. Faculty will receive one hour of professional renewal credit for each session they attend.

JOIN OUR GROUP IN SECOND LIFE
- In Second Life, type Kirkwood in the Search field in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Click the Kirkwood Community College link in your search results, then click the Profile button.
- Click the Join Now button in the group profile. There is no cost to join.
- A pop-up window will ask if you wish to proceed. Click the Join button.
