Student Services
Kirkwood provides students with a variety of helpful resources and support services. With each academic credit class, students can receive two free hours of tutoring, and academic advising and counseling services are free to students. We also have advisors trained to help you save on college costs. Kirkwood offers one of the lowest tuition rates in Iowa, and about 51 percent of students receive some form of financial aid. Take advantage of our convenient computer lab or get detailed help at the writing center or math lab. Our library offers a center for research and study, as well as a quiet spot to read or rest between classes. Have questions, need help or just curious about a program, visit the Student Services office in the main lobby of building 1816 or call 319-887-3658. Walk-In-AdvisingIf you plan on taking classes on the Iowa City Campus, stop by during Walk-In-Advising hours to discuss your academic plans and class schedule No appointment is necessary. Walk-in Advising will begin August 3rd, 2009.
