Paraeducator Certification Requirements

Kirkwood Community College is offering courses that meet the voluntary Iowa Paraeducator Certification requirements. There are several levels of Iowa Paraeducator Certification. The courses will meet the hours and topics mandated for the Generalist Certification. These courses also apply toward requirements for Level II and Advanced Certification.

In addition to meeting the requirements for the Iowa Paraeducator Certification, these courses are also part of the Disabilities Services Careers and Early Childhood Programs at Kirkwood.
