Danielle Ebaugh is our Career Services Coordinator.  Danielle is Kirkwood's liaison between the business community in the corridor and Kirkwood's Career Services and Job Club. This includes assisting employers in connecting with all people utilizing Kirkwood’s career planning services; such as career fairs on campus, employer visibility to students on campus, job posting and resume searches. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Sociology from Coe College.

Mary Gesing

Mary started at Kirkwood as a part-time counselor in 1988, moving to a full-time counseling position with Student Development in 1998.  She provides counseling services, teaches Career Decision Making, and College 101 classes, conducts career workshops, and works with Project START, Project FINISH, and ACCESS scholarship students.  Mary has a MA in Counselor Ed/Student Development from the University of Iowa.

Nikki Julian, PhD, LMHC

Nikki started at Kirkwood part time in 2009 and moved into a full time position in 2011. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and enjoys working the diverse population that Kirkwood offers. Nikki graduated from Presentation College in 2002 is a BS in communications and minor in psychology, she attained her MS.Ed from Northern State University in 2004 in mental health counseling and her Ph.D in 2012 in Rehabilitation and Counselor Education and became a certified sex therapist from Florida Sex Therapy Institute in 2009.

Morris Pounds
124 Iowa Hall

Morris joined Kirkwood Community College in 1979 as an Agri-Marketing Instructor and later became the Coordinator of the program. He made the transition in the mid-80 s and finished his Counseling Degree and joined the Student Development staff as a Counselor. Morris received his Master of Arts Degree from Truman State University. He has a Major in Counseling with an emphasis in Personal Development. Morris is very active in working with high school students to returning adults in Career Planning.

  Bobbi Miller
Student Services Director

Bobbi Miller is our Student Services Director. She worked full-time at Kirkwood Community College, in the Student Development Office, before attending graduate school on a full-time basis. Bobbi provides leadership to the Recreation Center staff as well as ‘Student Development Specialists’ in the Student Development office. Her educational background includes a BA in Business Administration from Mount Mercy University and an M.Ed. degree from Iowa State University with an emphasis in Higher Education- Student Affairs. Bobbi also received a community college instructor certificate from Iowa State University. Brenda is the Work Study Coordinator for Kirkwood. She also helps to oversee the front office operations for the Dean of Students Office (Advising & Transfer Center, Counseling, & Career Services).  Brenda has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Western Illinois University.

Angie Ziesman Weiler

Angie provides individual counseling, facilitates career decision making workshops, and is a case manager for students with disabilities. She coordinates the yearly depression, alcohol, and eating disorder screenings, serves as an advisor for the Active Minds club, and teaches Mental Health First Aid. Angie’s educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from Central College and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. Angie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), and is MBTI qualified.
