St. Ambrose University Graduate Programs

If you’re a busy professional who wants to earn a graduate degree and still work full time, you can – right here on Kirkwood’s main campus. St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, offers three master level programs in the Cedar Rapids area so students can work full time during the day and earn their degree part time at night.  St. Ambrose University

The H.L. McLaughlin Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program approach is totally integrated:  integration of business disciplines, integration of people in teams, plus integration of values and practice.  The result—St. Ambrose MBA graduates are able to design solutions for today’s complex organizational environments.

This is an integrative, 39-credit hour, program offered in an 8-week, evening format.  Classes meet one night per week from 5:45 pm – 9:45 pm.

The Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) Program provides individuals currently in or seeking leadership positions with the conceptual and analytical skills necessary for successful leadership.  We offer topical and relevant education—often using actual workplace examples—that students can apply immediately.

This is an accelerated, 36-credit hour, program offered in an 8-week, evening format.  Students in Cedar Rapids follow a cohort model and begin classes every August.

The Master of Criminal Justice (MCJ) Program is ideal for those interested in upper-level careers in law enforcement, security, corrections and human services. The MCJ degree is highly regarded as being a valuable asset indicative of professionalism and competence above and beyond the baccalaureate degree. 

This is a 30-credit hour program offered in a 12-week, evening format. Most students in the program are professionals in the criminal justice field working toward their degree on a part-time basis.
