If the answer is yes to any of these questions, we can help! Kirkwood's Adult Literacy Program will help you meet these goals. This program is for adults in Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn and Washington counties who did not finish high school.

Become a Volunteer Tutor
If you want to help adults learn to read, become a volunteer tutor in Kirkwood’s Adult Literacy program.
You will learn to teach basic reading skills to adults. We supply appropriate reading materials, and match volunteers with adult students. You can really make a difference in someone's life.
