In the health science academies, students will be introduced to the health care system, and a variety of health careers, participate in classroom, laboratory, and community clinical experiences, and study the language of medicine. Students will learn and develop the basic skills expected of a health care provider, and demonstrate the professionalism required in today’s health care field.
