Our History Prior to the college's involvement with AQIP (Academic Quality Improvement Program) the college embraced the continuous improvement model called KQIP (Kirkwood's Quality Improvement Plan) from 2003-2006. Click here to view a summary of those projects.
Academic Quality Improvement Process (AQIP) The AQIP Examiner survey was administered in the fall of 2006 and 2008 to stimulate process improvement thinking, to better understand how employees evaluate processes, and to inform college improvement initiatives. Kirkwood Quality Improvement Process (KQIP) Action Projects The following tentative action projects have been identified based upon January 16th (2007) Summit input, the February 2007 faculty prioritization process, and the analysis of a Kirkwood team attending the Strategic Forum of the Higher Learning Commission.

Increase cross-departmental collaboration through use of data and technology with a focus upon improving student learning. (Learning Results)
