How to Enroll

If you are interested in taking credit classes, fill out a free Kirkwood Application for Admission. It just takes a few minutes and you can submit your application online. For questions about applying or enrolling, visit the Enrollment Services Web site. Back To Top

Adding Classes Late

Any courses that need to be added after the first week of classes must be approved by the Dean of Distance Learning. Due to the structure of online and packet courses, adding courses after the fifth day is extremely rare. Back To Top

Financial Aid

Kirkwood Community College offers a wide variety of financial aid, including grants, scholarships and student loans. Scholarships and grants are awarded based on academic performance, financial need or both. Contact Kirkwood’s Financial Aid office for more information. Back To Top

Final Grades

Final grade reports are not routinely mailed. You can obtain your final grades by Internet or telephone. Final grades are normally due by the end of the fourth calendar day after the term end. However, your instructor must receive all work in advance of the ending date in order to meet this deadline. Keep in mind that you need to allow time for your last assignments or exams to be received. Please contact your instructor for advice if this is a concern. The date your last work is sent (and the quantity of work sent at one time) will affect your instructor’s ability to post your grade on time. If your grade is not posted when you expect it, please contact your instructor. Back To Top
