This session extracts ten important recent research findings on human learning in technology-equipped and technology-mediated learning environments. It offers take-home messages for teaching practice. The “ten things” include findings on and strategies for content presentation, interpersonal communication, technology integration, assessment and grading, feedback, getting students to participate, getting them to take content beyond class and more.

Presenter: Dr. Pat Hardre received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in Educational Psychology in Instructional Design and Technology and in motivation and assessment evaluation. She is the primary consultant for the Kirkwood CASTLE faculty development program. Pat is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and an Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Research at the University of Oklahoma.
