In partnership with high school teachers, faculty members at Kirkwood Community College have worked collaboratively to identify course competencies that are common at both the high school and college levels throughout a variety of disciplines.

Once courses are identified as having equivalent outcomes, an articulation agreement is signed by the high school district and Kirkwood Community College which allows students to earn college credit at Kirkwood for the articulated course.
