Career Studies - Health
(Radiologic Technology Degree Completion)

Program description: Career Studies - Health is designed for Radiologic Technology students in partnership with the Mercy/St. Luke’s School of Radiologic Technology.

The two-year radiologic technology technical program is taught through Mercy/St. Luke’s, begins each summer, and has a separate application process.

Students must complete prerequisite courses at Kirkwood to become eligible to apply for the Mercy/St. Luke's program. After they complete the program and receive their certificate in Radiologic Technology, students can transfer those credits back to Kirkwood and receive an associate of applied science degree in Career Studies if the prerequisite courses were taken at Kirkwood Community College.
