Local Area Network (LAN) Management
Program description: Graduates in this program develop, build, integrate and maintain local area networks. Theory and practical hands-on experience give students a basic understanding of how computers are networked.
Network administrators design and support server systems and related software, as well as provide end-user support for all LAN-based applications.
According to a recent study by Information Technology placement agency Robert Half International Consulting, networking is the most in-demand IT speciality. Many chief information officers surveyed cited networking as the highest growth area within IT departments.
