Agricultural Geospatial Technology
Agricultural Geospatial Technology students prepare to work in the emerging geospatial technology industry. Kirkwood’s program is one of only a handful of precision agriculture programs in the nation and the only program that allows specialization in dealership/equipment or agronomy careers.
The two-year program includes courses in Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), analysis and data collection, in addition to agronomy and computers. Students also complete an internship. This degree can apply to many career areas and can be customized as needed. A strong background in math and science is recommended for this program.
