Education:
A graduate from the University of Iowa, Sheryl has attended Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa. She frequently returns to Business to keep current with Industry trends and learn the computer software being used today.

Professional Experience:
 Professor of Interior Design at Kirkwood Community College for 24 years. She worked in Business fulltime for 10 years before entering education.  She has occupational work experience in Residential, Contract, and  Kitchen Design. She has passed the NCIDQ Exam and is a Register Interior Designer in the State of Iowa.
