OAKS FAMILY EVENT—A Halloween Party! Where? When? Sunday, October 19, 2008 from
2pm-4pm It’s a Halloween Party for Four Oaks clients and
their families, complete with caramel apples, a costume contest and a haunted
house! Volunteers are needed from 1pm-5pm to help with
event set-up and clean-up as well as assisting with food, games and

CENTER VOLUNTEERS Where? When? Times vary. Generally,
we need volunteers on week nights, from 3:30pm-8pm as well as weekend afternoons. Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks,
including, but not limited to: ·
HOMEWORK HELPER: Assist individuals and/or small groups
of kids with their school work. ·
ACTIVITY VOLUNTEER: Do you have a talent that you can
share with small groups of kids? Perhaps you’re an artist or a chef… possibly
you know some cool magic tricks or are pro at tennis or golf… maybe
you’re a whiz on the computer or you have a knack for pottery, crocheting or
scrapbooking. Four Oaks kids would love to learn from you. ·
RECREATION DEPT VOLUNTEER: Need volunteers to assist
Four Oaks staff at Rec time, when kids are highly active (i.e. playing in the

CLEANING Where? When? Anytime Need a group of volunteers for general
landscaping/outdoor clean-up at the Cedar Valley Apartments. This is a
