College Prep is a 12-credit block of developmental courses designed to prepare students for academic success. It meets Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. College Prep students should also plan to work outside of class on campus in order to meet assignment deadlines.
Students should register for all 12 credits, as the courses are interrelated and it is important for students to learn the skills taught in all of the courses in order to increase success in college. Students eligible for financial aid can receive aid for the College Prep block of classes.
The block of courses is taught by a team of five instructors with an emphasis placed on individual attention, help, advising and guidance with assignments.
