Hope Lodge to Receive Convention Service Project Donations Hope Lodge, the American Cancer Society's free, temporary housing facility for cancer patients and their families, will be the beneficiary of Phi Theta Kappa's 2004 International Convention Service Project. Annually the Service Project gives Convention attendees an opportunity to give back to the host area through assistance to a local service organization. Convention attendees are urged to bring DVDs, long distance telephone cards, paper products, household cleansers and other items for donation to the Hope Lodge in nearby Rochester, Minnesota. Items will be collected and displayed in the Academic Marketplace and presented to an American Cancer Society representative during the Convention. See below for a complete Hope Lodge "wish list."
