- The Distinguished Service Awards recongnize Kirkwood employees
who, for a variety of reasons, have exemplified what it means to
be a great Kirkwood employee.
- The committee will select as few as one winner each year, up to
a maximum of five winners.
- Possible nomination ideas include:
- Outstanding new employee (formerly the Rookie Award)
- Promoting Kirkwood to the community (formerly the Ambassador Award)
- Promoting diversity on campus or in the community
- Community service
- Oustanding part-time employee (Part-Time President's Award)
- Outstanding service to Kirkwood (President's Award)
- Winners of the award will be ineligible for further nomination
for a period of three years after receiving the award.
- Nominees who do not win the award remain eligible for nomination
in subsequent years. However, they must be re-nominated in accordance
with the rules of the award.
