The demand for health care professionals is on the rise. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, health is the second fastest growing employment field. Kirkwood prepares students to be a part of this vital, growing profession by offering Health Science programs that keep pace with technological advances and changes in health care. Our close affiliation with major health care institutions in the area offers excellent clinical training in all areas of specialization. Health Science programs lead to certification or licensure appropriate to the particular career. All of our programs are taught by health care professionals and include clinical and/or practicum experience.
