WHERE DO I BEGIN? Applying for financial aid sounds difficult with the various forms and documents involved. But it isn't as bad as it seems, there is plenty of help available.
Before you begin, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements. You must:
- Be enrolled in an approved degree program.
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress in the selected course of study.
- Be registered with Selective Service (if required).
- Not owe a replacement on a federal or state grant.
- Not be in default on a student loan.
