An elegant atmosphere nestled in a unique educational environment, The Kirkwood Center is a premier hotel and conference facility that functions simultaneously as a learning tool for the hospitality industry’s future leaders.
The Hotel at Kirkwood Center is one of an elite handful of teaching hotels nationwide. It features 71 luxurious guest rooms, first class amenities and The Class Act, a full-service gourmet restaurant, staffed by professionals assisted by Kirkwood students.

Kirkwood Continuing Education notes more than 63,000 annual enrollments in classes ranging from crafts and hobbies to small business development.
The Community Training and Response Center located on main campus, combines Kirkwood, several local agencies and the Hazardous Materials Training and Research Institute to provide a countywide Emergency Operations Center.
Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services (KTOS) helps area businesses and industries expand and train new employees. Over the past 25 years, the programs it administers have created more than 20,000 new jobs in eastern Iowa.
